What can you expect in this role? Reporting to the Program Manager, the Project Manager will lead cross-functional initiatives that support corporate strategy and business objectives. You will be responsible for delivering projects on time, within scope, and on budget while ensuring strong stakeholder alignment and high-quality outcomes.
You will play a key role in guiding project teams, removing impediments, managing risks, and fostering a collaborative, high-performing environment.
What you’ll do? Project Delivery & Leadership
Lead end-to-end project delivery, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure
Manage project scope, budget, timelines, and resource allocation
Provide direction, coaching, and performance feedback to project team members
Lead Agile ceremonies including Sprint planning, stand-ups, demos, and retrospectives
Stakeholder Management
Partner with business owners, sponsors, and cross-functional teams to define and prioritize work
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors
Communicate project status, risks, and outcomes clearly to all audiences
Risk, Issue & Financial Management
Identify, assess, and resolve project risks, issues, and blockers
Manage project budgets and ensure cost adherence
Escalate issues and support funding requests where required
Reporting & Continuous Improvement
Track and report on project and sprint progress
Develop clear, concise reporting tailored to stakeholders
Drive continuous improvement in project practices and delivery models
Release & Transition Management
Support release readiness, including documentation and stakeholder approvals
Coordinate successful transition to operational teams
Oversee post-deployment monitoring and success validation
What you bring? Qualifications & Experience
University degree or college diploma in a related field
PMP certification (required)
3+ years of Project Management or Scrum Master experience
Experience managing teams of 5+ and budgets between $100K–$500K
Experience in Financial Services or Insurance (asset)
Technical Skills
Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, and MS Project
Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Excel, Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Word)
