What can you expect in this role? Technology Infrastructure Manager leads and optimizes our enterprise infrastructure operations. This role ensures stability, security, scalability, and innovation of our technological environment. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with strategic leadership to drive operational excellence and align infrastructure initiatives with business objectives. The successful candidate will possess deep technical expertise across Windows, .NET, MS SQL, Fortinet, Cisco & Dell networking, and cybersecurity, along with proven leadership capabilities to manage a high-performing team.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of infrastructure professionals responsible for network, server, and security operations.
Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise infrastructure including Windows Server environments, .NET applications, and SQL databases.
Ensure high availability, performance, and security of all infrastructure systems.
Manage and optimize Fortinet firewalls, load balancers and Dell, Cisco switches, ensuring robust network security and connectivity.
Manage and maintain multiple Microsoft Hyper-V HA Failover Clusters with replication
Manage and maintain Dell Blade, PowerMax & SAN infrastructure.
Develop and enforce IT security policies, procedures, and best practices in alignment with industry standards.
Monitor system performance and proactively address potential issues to minimize downtime.
Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to support strategic initiatives and ensure infrastructure alignment with business goals.
Manage vendor relationships and contracts related to infrastructure services and support.
Maintain documentation of systems architecture, configurations, and procedures.
Lead disaster recovery planning and business continuity efforts.
Track and manage infrastructure budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations within the organization’s technology spend targets.
Job Requirements Education
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology) or equivalent experience.
Relevant professional certifications such as:
Microsoft: MCSE, Microsoft Certified: Database Administrator
Networking: CCNA/CCNP
Security: Fortinet NSE, CISSP
Dell Technologies: Certified Specialist
Experience
Minimum 15 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with at least 7+ years in a leadership role.
Strong hands-on experience with:
Windows Server administration
.NET application environments
Microsoft SQL Server
Fortinet firewall configuration and management
Cisco/Dell switches and networking protocols
Network architecture and troubleshooting
Cybersecurity frameworks and tools
Expertise in Dell Blade, PowerMax, and Compellent SAN technologies.
Proven ability to manage and mentor technical teams in a fast-paced environment.
Experience managing infrastructure for mid-to-large scale enterprises.
Strong understanding of ITIL practices and service management.
Experience in cloud infrastructure (Azure) and hybrid environments.
Familiarity with Mitel VOIP systems.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
