What can you expect in this role?
We’re seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join our team on an 18month maternity leave contract. In this role, youll support both marketing operations and brokerrelated activities, ensuring smooth communication, accurate branding, and seamless execution of key initiatives.

This position is ideal for a proactive multitasker who thrives in a fastpaced environment and enjoys collaborating with internal teams, external partners, and brokers.

Key Responsibilities
Broker Management
  • Coordinate and administer broker onboarding, including agency setup and licensing within the Family POS system.
  • Maintain and update the broker contact directory and mailing lists.
  • Coordinate and manage the broker implementation process and support brokers through each stage.
    • Draft and revise broker contracts.
    • Provide brokers with training materials and marketing supplies.
  • Respond to general broker inquiries and requests.
  • Communicate sales and incentive campaign objectives, timelines, and deliverables to the sales team.
  • Distribute monthly broker performance reports.
  • Plan and manage broker-related events.

Marketing and Communications
  • Ensure all internal and external materials comply with corporate brand guidelines.
  • Create and maintain marketing and training materials, including content, artwork, and image rights.
  • Manage print production and work with external vendors as needed.
  • Manage and maintain (research, select, order and replenish) promotional inventory (e.g., apparel, stationery, branded merchandise).
  • Draft and distribute broker communications and internal departmental communications.
  • Support the development, implementation, and reporting of sales campaigns.
  • Provide general administrative support to Director, Business Development.

Education & Experience
  • Degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, or related field—or equivalent experience.
  • 2–3 years of experience in the insurance industry (preferred).
  • Graphic design education or equivalent experience (asset).
  • Experience with:
    • Email marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp) and major social media platforms (asset)
    • Adobe Captivate (asset)
    • Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
    • Adobe CMS or website content management (asset)
    • SurveyMonkey (asset)
  • Preference for candidates with a General Insurance Salesperson Level 1 License, or willingness to obtain within 90 days (covered by Family).
  • Executive Assistant experience (asset).
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher).
